Now any forklift can be used for bulk loading of fruit, vegetables, fertilizer etc. either in the field or on a loading pad without any hookup to a forklift or a hydraulic unit.
The Mechanical Bulk Loader uses a chain anchored to the side of the truck to accomplish its dumping action. After a bin is placed into the Mechanical Bulk Loader it is raised with a forklift. When the dumper reaches the desired height, tension on the chain causes the bin to be rotated forward as the forklift continues to rise. It uses approximately 30 inches of travel to complete the dumping cycle and empty the bin.
Because the Mechanical Bulk Loader is not tied to one forklift or loading area, more than one forklift can utilize this dumper for faster loading.
An adjustable bar above the bin prevents it from falling during the dumping operation.

This view shows an OPTIONAL anchor plate (sold separately) that can be used if no other chain attachment point is available.
The weight of the fork truck anchors the chain to permit the dumping action.
